Winery El Trascacho

A unique place for unforgettable experiences

Wine was produced in the winery El Trascacho from 1881 until the late 1980s. Today it serves as a kind of museum for visits and events. The winery is also known in the region for its contribution to the culture of its former owner Andrés Cejudo López. The traces of this activity can still be seen in the stone-carved wine cellar and the clay vessels there. At the El Trascacho winery we offer a very special type of wine tourism: culinary wine tasting in the wine cellar carved into the rock. This makes these wine tastings unique in Valdepeñas and in the region. We also organize cultural events in the winery and rent it out for private or corporate events.
