An absolute classic of Spanish food

Dishes such as paella, patatas bravas and chorizo are known outside of Spain, but Spanish food has much more to offer, such as this simple yet delicious dish:

  • Description: Pisto manchego is a traditional dish from the region Castile-La Mancha made with few top quality ingredients: tomatoes, peppers and extra virgin olive oil.
  • Manufacturer: This Pisto comes from the Conservas Castro company from Bolaños de Calatrava in Castile-La Mancha. It was made according to a traditional recipe by people with disabilities.
  • Ingredients: It contains no coloring or preservatives.
  • Content: 460g (net), in a glass
  • How do you eat Pisto Manchego?

The pisto is usually spread on baguette slices and eaten at room temperature. It also goes great in combination with fried eggs.

This tasty Pisto Manchego goes best with white wine. Depending on your preferences, we recommend the fresh and fruity Quinta de Aves Sauvignon Blanc & Moscatel or Pilas Bonas, an elegant white wine made from the Chardonnay & Sauvignon Blanc grape varieties with a special designation of origin. Both harmonize wonderfully with this typical Spanish food.
